We invite applications for a postdoctoral research position in the Sejong Cosmology Lab led by Prof. Graziano Rossi at Sejong University in Seoul, Korea. We are particularly interested in an enthusiastic and highly motivated candidate familiar with cosmological numerical simulations and/or cosmological constraints from the large-scale structure, and with excellent skills in statistical analysis and manipulation of large datasets. The position is funded by a Korea National Research Foundation grant focused on the exploration of the Dark Sector with cosmological probes. The initial appointment isfor 2 years, with a possible 1-year extension. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. by the starting date. Some funding for travel and computing equipment is also available. Current interests of the group include numerical cosmology and cosmic web clustering with large-volume surveys, neutrino and dark sector science, and the Lyman-Alpha forest.

Applications should consist of a cover letter, curriculum vitae, publication list, and a statement of research interests, to be submitted to graziano@sejong.ac.kr. In addition, the applicant should arrange for 2-3 reference letters to be sent directly to the same email address before the deadline. Application material should be received by December 14, 2020 for full consideration. Late applications may be accepted until the position is filled. The preferred starting date is March 1, 2021, although earlier or later appointments can be negotiated.

Sejong University is constantly growing, and went up 24 steps from the previous position last year in ‘THE Asia University Rankings 2020’ (the highest improvement among domestic universities).
