Two 2+1 year Postdoctoral Positions in Cosmology– Deadline 11th

The cosmology group at KASI (CosKASI),
Daejeon, Korea invites applications for two post-doctoral research fellow
positions in theoretical cosmology. Priority will be given to the following
subjects: (a) physical cosmology (one position), and (b) large-scale structure
(one position). The successful candidate for (a) will be working with Arman
Shafieloo, or (b) with Yong-Seon Song.
The positions are initially for two
years, with the possibility of a third year depending on the research
performance, mutual agreement or funding situation. The position is available
as soon as 1 September 2021 but the starting date is negotiable. The annual
salary is approximately 54,000,000 Korean Won (approximately 46,000 USD at
current exchange rate). In addition, individual research funds of 10,000,000
Korean Won are available per year.

CosKASI consists of four full-time
research scientists (Sungwook E. Hong, David Parkinson, Arman Shafieloo and
Yong-Seon Song), two part-time research scientists and a number of
post-doctoral research fellows. CosKASI has broad research interests including
early universe, large-scale structure and observational cosmology.
