AOGS2021
virtual: Call for Abstract Submissions
Abstract
submission for the AOGS2021
virtual meeting scheduled for August 2021 is currently open.
We
solicit contributions to the following session ST16.
[ST16] Solar Magneto-convection in the Lower
Atmosphere: High-resolution Observations and Numerical Simulations
Our understanding of solar magneto-convection
in the lower atmosphere has improved rapidly, thanks to high-resolution
observations and sophisticated numerical simulations. However, many details on
the local magneto-convections are still elusive. This session solicits
presentations discussing recent high-resolution observations on various
activities associated with solar magneto-convections in the lower atmosphere
and knowledge obtained from numerical simulations or theories. Here are some
examples of relevant topics: observational/numerical aspects of photospheric
flux emergence, instabilities, chromospheric activities, relevant waves, and
magnetic reconnections in active regions or quiet Sun.
Considering
the format of the conference, we encourage candidate presenters to apply for
oral presentations.
